NEW YORK STATE BURN BAN
HFD SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM, March 15
New York State Governor Kathy Hochul has implemented a mandatory burn ban for all of New York City, Long Island, Westchester County, Putnam County, Rockland County, Orange County, Ulster County and Dutchess County due to a high fire danger risk.

HUGHSONVILLE FIREFIGHTERS RESPOND M/A TO THE ROMBOUT FIRE DISTRICT

On February 20th, Hughsonville Fire Department was dispatched to assist the Rombout Fire Department with a Second Alarm Structure Fire on Lyndon Road. The HFD responded with 45-1(Chief), 45-2(Dep. HFD responds to 10-75 (Active Fire)
HFD Social Media Team, January 25
At 9:19pm, on January 23, 2025, Hughsonville Fire Department along with New Hackensack 52-11(Engine) were dispatched to Montclair Townhomes for smoke coming from an apartment. The first arriving Chief Officer arrived on scene and encountered a heavy smoke condition and visible fire from a second floor deck.
