🚨 Mutual Aid - 3rd Alarm Structure Fire 🚨

At 1:24 AM on July 5th, the Hughsonville Fire Department was dispatched on the 2nd Alarm assignment to assist the Wappingers Falls Fire Department at the scene of a working structure fire.

The HFD responded with 45-2 (Deputy Chief), 45-3 (Assistant Chief), and 45-11 (Engine) with a crew of 6 firefighters who were quickly put to work upon arrival. Shortly after, 45-46 (Ladder) was requested and responded with an additional crew of 6 firefighters. As conditions deteriorated, Wappingers Command upgraded the incident to a 3rd Alarm, bringing in more mutual aid resources.

Hughsonville Firefighters assisted with fire suppression, ventilation, and overhaul operations for approximately 3 hours before being released by Wappingers Command. Pictures By: Bill Johnson FDPHOTOUNIT
