| The Hughsonville Fire District is pleased to announce that the public referendum authorizing the purchase of new portable firefighter radios has passed.
The referendum received 37 votes in favor and 18 votes opposed.
The Hughsonville Fire District extends its sincere appreciation to all residents who took the time to participate in the referendum and cast their vote. The purchase of this critical firefighting equipment will help provide our volunteer firefighters with reliable, modern communications equipment as they respond to emergencies throughout our community.
