On Monday evening, New Hackensack FD joined the HFD for joint training provided by Central Hudson Gas & Electric. Central Hudson’s Director of Gas Operations and his team instructed members from both departments on a multitude of subjects, including natural gas recognition and safety, gas metering, and shut off considerations and processes. Central Hudson brought their Gas Safety trailer, which included various types of gas meters, regulators, risers and manifolds. This training was well received and the HFD thanks Central Hudson for this valuable instruction.
