Chief of Department Paul Rogers and the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Hughsonville Fire District are pleased to announce our organization has been awarded $90,000 through the 2023 Dutchess County Municipal Investment Grant Program (MIG). The Hughsonville Fire District will use the awarded monetary grant to outfit approximately twenty firefighters with new Personal Protective Gear (PPE).

Chief of Department Paul Rogers stated “The Dutchess County Municipal Investment Grant Program has impacted our organization greatly since it began last year. We are very grateful for Dutchess County for beginning this program and continuing to fund the program. This grant will ensure our firefighters will remain safe while keeping our community safe”.

The Hughsonville Fire Department would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dutchess County Executive William F.X. O’Neil and the Dutchess County Legislature for this opportunity to outfit our firefighters with new personal protective gear.
