On February 20th, Hughsonville Fire Department was dispatched to assist the Rombout Fire Department with a Second Alarm Structure Fire on Lyndon Road. The HFD responded with 45-1(Chief), 45-2(Dep. Chief), 45-3(Asst. Chief), 45-32(Tanker), 45-55(Heavy Rescue & FAST). 45-32(Tanker) assisted with Water Operations while the crew from 45-55(Heavy Rescue) stood by on scene as the F.A.S.T Team. Hughsonville FD hosts the HVVFA Haz-Mat Seminar

Chief of Department Paul Rogers is please to announce that the Hughsonville Fire Department will be hosting the Hudson Valley Volunteer Firefighters Association’s yearly Haz-Mat Seminar. The HVVFA Seminar will take place on Saturday, March 15th from 8:30AM to 2:30PM.

HFD responds to 10-75 (Active Fire)
HFD Social Media Team, January 25
At 9:19pm, on January 23, 2025, Hughsonville Fire Department along with New Hackensack 52-11(Engine) were dispatched to Montclair Townhomes for smoke coming from an apartment. The first arriving Chief Officer arrived on scene and encountered a heavy smoke condition and visible fire from a second floor deck. Hughsonville FD responds M/A to New Hamburg Fire District
HFD Social Media Team, January 24
At 12:00pm, on January 23, 2025, Hughsonville Fire Department was requested mutual aid to the New Hamburg Fire District for an active trailer fire. The HFD responded with 45-3(Asst. Chief) and 45-31(Tanker) with manpower. Hughsonville Firefighters assisted on scene for approximately an hour before being placed back in-service by New Hamburg Command.
